Update user manual and write abut new features and a bit more about how to work with facial profiles, like how to do a reverse search, and how to change the profile status.

Babson Meeting December 14th/2023
The main points from Babson meeting December 14th/2023
1.There were some bugs with Upload button, and when computer goes to sleep during upload. Please refer to these on the most recent entries on the "App testing" Spreadsheets
2. Please add Audience drop down menu to fields for auto create entity fields into "People"
3. Lets see if we can make the collaboration folders more searchable, and easier to navigate. These are going to be used a lot, so the more user friendly the better!
4. We would like to add a feature where instead of just having the option to upload files into collaboration folders, you can browse existing files and add those to the folders as well. This would look like a "Browse existing" Button next to the uploads button.
5. It would be really great to have an efficient and organized workflow and a standardized way to browse assets, favourite/save them, and then be able to add those saved assets to a collaboration folder easily. I suggested doing this with tags, which seems pretty efficient and can be done in only 3 or 4 steps.
6. We need an option to rescan the total assets for facial recognition, in latest update it didn't appear to be enabled properly so I was unable to demo facial recognition properly.
hi Cheryl, we suggest going live on the 12th of January, we would migrate everything that weekend.
We willl be showing a release candidate on Dec 29th on the b site.

BUG LIST BABSON FOR SHAKIL
Current Babson B Site Review and Notes from this mornings testing session: ( I Don't know if B site has been upgraded, so these bugs could have been resolved already)
Formatting and UI for Shakil:
(1)Change “Face has Face” on summary sidebar to File has Face”. (STILL NEEDS UPDATE) (SHAKIL)
(2) “Activities” tab in department files shows white box instead of Icon, and other random places ( LOW PRIORITY)
(3) Actions menu disappears when you scroll down in gallery view, Map view, and grid view. ( STILL UNRESOLVED) (SHAKIL)
(4)Sidebar summary shows things like : "AYquIk6TyyyLX-g2tPO2 (156)". Under Departments heading (SHAKIL)
(5) When "photo filter" is selected on summary sidebar, navigation becomes difficult due to bug where photos being enabled as a filter will cause file area to show nothing until you X it out on header on top of screen. Or clear filter. (SHAKIL and CHRISTOPHER)
(6) AYquIk6TyyyLX-g2tPO2 (156) Now showing up on filters on header when selected, even after summary sidebar fixed, needs to show words not sources. (SHAKIL)
(7) Add Entity Picker Button to details page beside +Add to album (Properties details viewer) (SHAKIL)
FIXES AND FEATURES FOR CHRISTOPHER B - JAN 8th/2024
(1) Actions menu still needs to be changed to menu items that Christopher requested, see Oi agenda for details (URGENT)
-Rename Actions menu to "edit". with sub menu options: Select all, Batch edit, Export Results, Delete Selected items
Make sure following headings are in top bar in All files area, and files area of entities. Including: File, Edit, Add to, Share, Approval
Under File: Download, Export as, Delete Selected Assets,
Under Edit: Multi Edit, Select all, Clear Selections,
- Change name of "add to". To "Add files to tags"
- Relabel sidebar heading "Cloud folders". To "All Files"
Relabel "Folders" in entity viewer window to "Files"
(2)Remove "Create shareable gallery" and add "+Create public album" button
(3) Needs a “deselect All” function or being able to click on somewhere to deselect assets, maybe have a pop up asking “are you sure you want to deselect all assets?” Before loosing their selections but the user will need a way to start over if they need to, as it is now, you have to deselect assets manually in grid or gallery view one by one. (UNRESOLVED)
(4)Brainstorm slideshow view in public albums "lightbox" slideshow, gallery, table etc.Collage mosiac
BUGS AND FIXES FOR CRISTOBAL - JAN 8th/2024
(1) In property viewer, +Add to album brings up a broken pop up, the “X” to close the window does not work, but clicking anywhere behind will close window, List of library items missing scrolling function and is falling off the page. Did not try to add to any album.
(+Folder) needs to be changed to “Add to folder” Multiple assets selected in grid view are able to be added to collaboration folders this way, (CHANGED BUT NOT RESOLVED - Scrolling works now but now moves entire popup out of view, instead of just scrolling in list within popup.
(2)Clicking on settings on Collaboration folders or any files area of a department, entity etc. Will close out window that user was working on, suggest to either remove entirely or show a small drop down menu offering different view options instead of closing window, which is frustrating. (UNCHANGED)
(3)In the folder picker add a button to select folder when adding a file to a folder from properties viewer. Add a button for "Add to Folder" or Select"
(4)delete TAGS feature from side menu
(5) remove public albums from sidebar menu and add "Public Albums" to Top level entity header

I've been tracking along on the chat, do we feel we're still on track to migrate this weekend?
Regardless of migration date, I was hoping to do another review of the documentation soon. Ideally, I'd be able to review with users sometime this week to get them prepared for the change. Let me know status of things, thank you!

Thanks for your message. Were still on to migrate this weekend. We can meet Thursday and go over some more of the documentation we have been working on. How does that sound to you?
We suggest not using the old site from friday 12th of January at 12pm on. We will migrate all data over the weekend, if you can inform your users not to upload anything, that would be great.
We can't guarantee uploading anything will work until monday morning. We can keep you updated during this process. I hope this works for you!

BUGS TO FIX - January 9th/2024 For Shakil:
(1)When displaying 20 assets per page in astronomy file area, hiding sidebar summary will cause glitch in format, Then pulling out summary sidebar again will fix it. Better to get rid of page numbers in stacked gallery, better to have infinite scroll.
(2)Glitch is shown while scrolling in grid or gallery view, header and actions menu disappears with scroll and needs to stay stationary. Similar to Babson issue. Need to fix on em11 too.
(3) Clicking on the name on an entity folder in any view causes bug to come up.
(4) Jump to page on entity viewer doesn’t work
(5) Menu is crowded when there are thousands of pages, shows 10 different item numbers, which looks fine when small digits but gets crowded and messy when they are in hundreds or thousands. Suggestion to put EG: “Page xxx of xxxxx” instead, when it gets to be bigger than 50 pages maybe?
(6) Move Search filters to right of the file 42 area
(7) Move Entity breadcrumbs to the bottom part of summary. Use the folder icon style for aesthetic look. In a titled area, explaining what it is.
(9) Get rid of “Files” heading on top of files area accessed by index, add upload button.
(10) Get rid of Files heading and make all one line.
(11) icons at person and colors are not correct
